Last year my sister Kate from Clear the Way and I created 12 Lists, a monthly series for those who love making lists. Each month we announce the topic, write our lists accordingly, and invite you to do the same on your blog. Check out my sister’s list here, and add your post to the link-up below so we can get to know you a little better, one list at a time. This month’s topic: things to be better at.
I am so ready to watch this new year unfold and to make another 12 lists! I love this month’s topic for January. I don’t usually make New Years resolutions but I am ready to really pursue all the things I love this next year. I spent the last few months of 2015 getting most of my ducks in a row for a whole new phase of my life. Although I have yet to complete my move to San Francisco, which is happening on February 1st, I feel like I’m just inches away from living my perfect (for now) life. I hope that you are looking forward to a great new year as well and that we can encourage and support one another as we strive to be better.
- Blogging – I have basically dropped the ball on my blog this last year. I feel like I’m finally going to be in a place where I have space and time to do the things I love, and I’m looking forward to becoming a “real blogger” this year.
- Playing Guitar
- Finishing Songs – I have always written poems and snippets of songs, but I really want to be better at finishing my songs. Follow through hasn’t been my strong suit in the past, but one can always change.
- Speaking up for my needs – This is one where I’ve already made some progress and something I work on every day.
- Getting regular sleep
Do you have any New Years resolutions this year?
