Last month my home décor post was all about couches; this month I’m building up and bringing in the fun. I shared my preference for keeping the larger pieces in your space neutral, leaving lots of room to play with color and texture when it comes to accessories. Today I’m exploring three different routes you can take when choosing those accessories. My own personal style isn’t so much eclectic as it is varied. I could happily switch between all three of these style types depending on mood (which is another reason I love the neutral base). The geometric cushions are beautifully structured and symmetric, yet could also mix well with another pattern. The scalloped look is so art deco and classic. I am in love with art deco wallpaper but I’m more comfortable investing in a small piece, in case I change my mind! These last two statement pieces were too fun to resist. I love the seventies vibes from number 5, and the adventurous vibes from number 6.
Which is your favorite? Does your taste go through mood swings too?
